A pair of tired eyes flicker open.
The eyes belong to World War Two American paratrooper Pvt. Frank Hutchins, who finds himself sunken back on the hood of a mid-90s sedan. He lifts his head off the windshield, taking in his surroundings, realizing that he's in the middle of a modern suburban neighbourhood...
"Drop" is the latest short film from award-winning director Chris Goldade and follows Pvt. Frank Hutchins (Jan Bos), as he struggles to piece together his fateful mission into Nazi-occupied France and how he ended up smack dab in the middle of a California suburb. With the "help" of dim-witted freeloader Barrie (Darcey Johnson), Pvt. Hutchins discovers that reconnecting with his squadron might be a little harder than he first anticipated.
